The Australian Parents Council (APC) and the Australian Council of State School Organisations (ACSSO) invite parents from around Australia to register interest for an exciting project: Parents Understanding Asia Literacy: Building demand for Asian languages and studies.

Open High School's 2012 Single-Course Provision Information Handbook and Application Packages are now available for downloading from our website Downloads section which you can access by clicking here. All applications should be submitted by the home school early in Term 4. Any applications for a 2011 commencement of study, eg, HSC students starting the HSC course in Term 4, and students who have changed schools, should still be on the 2012 forms with a clear note attached to indicate an immediate start.

Years 9 and 10 Japanese students in the 100 Hours courses only, who are involved in the 2011 excursion to the Nihongo Tanken Centre on Monday September 5th should read the following information.

This year, the Board of Studies has given schools the option of scheduling their students’ 2011 HSC Oral Examinations through Schools Online Administration. The Oral Examinations timetable can be viewed on our website (in the BoS Downloads section) and, of course, on the Board’s website.
